Building something without a plan is like driving without a preset destination. There may be a lot of activity but in reality you waste time and resources. If you haven’t already, get a business plan. If you have one for a while and things are stagnant, review it.

Have a clearly defined vision for your business and yourself. This vision will help you stay focused.

Numbers

Numbers matter. If it cannot be measured in numbers, it is not a business.

A change of tactics or exit plan must be established beforehand for events when goals aren’t reached.

One same component may be used differently with a flavor unique to a business.

Some businesses need components specific to their business type and industry.
